.jpg) The Upper State Apartment Association (USAA) is a local apartment industry trade association that represents the entire Upstate area of South Carolina, including Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Cherokee, Pickens, Laurens, Greenwood and York counties. Since 1975, USAA has represented our area in regulatory and legislative issues that are vital to your business. USAA continually raises awareness of the industry through outstanding education and public relations. The USAA currently represents over 23,000 units, 115 apartment communities and more than 80 vendor members.

Benefits
Education - Participation in USAA monthly meetings and educational seminars is a prime opportunity to stay apprised of industry updates and training curriculum. We offer classes in a wide variety of topics so you can become certified and maintain your CEC's. Our Education Center is also available to reserve for your own classes and meetings. This is a members-only benefit!
Legislative Lobbying - In order to ensure the best possible environment for multi-family housing, legislative representation is critical. On the local, state and national level - whether safety, environmental controls, construction or management issues - the lobbyists who represent or industry are actively working to protect our interest.
Business Opportunities - Since 1975, USAA has afforded multi-family suppliers important access to key decision makers through such avenues as Membership meetings, USAA Directory and Buyers Guide, e-newsletter, committee involvement, Board of Directors representation and sponsorship opportunities.
