The Upper State Apartment Association (USAA) represents the entire upstate area of South Carolina. Since 1979, USAA has represented our area in regulatory and legislative issues that are vital to your business.
USAA continually raises awareness of the industry through outstanding education and public relations. The USAA currently represents over 25,000 units through 125 apartment communities and 100 vendor members.

Benefits
Education - We offer classes in a wide variety of topics so you can become licensed, certified and maintain your CEC's. Our 30 hour Property Management class is approved by the SC Real Estate Commission. This course is required prior to taking the state exam. National Designation classes including NALP, CAM, CAMT and CAPS are also available.
Legislative Lobbying - In order to ensure the best possible environment for multi-family housing, legislative representation is critical. On the local, state and national level - whether safety, environmental controls, construction or management issues - the lobbyists who represent or industry are actively working to protect our interest.
Business Opportunities - USAA provides multi-family suppliers important access to key decision makers through such avenues as Membership meetings including an annual Golf Tournament and Trade Show, USAA Directory, E-newsletter, committee involvement, Board of Directors representation and sponsorship opportunities.
