Jason Bushnell

I began my career in signage quite literally at the bottom of the ladder. I started off working as an installer for a national sign company. I travelled around the country installing signs of all shapes and sizes. I worked on projects with Wells Fargo, Starbucks, Food Lion, Lowes, Walmart, and many other major Fortune 500 companies. After learning this side of the industry in and out for a number of years, I had children and decided that the road was no longer for me. At this point I spent the next 10 years meticulously learning every facet of manufacturing a sign from beginning to end. I worked in literally every department but my favorite will always be the neon room.

After spending many years working for this national sign company I was offered a position as a Plant Manager with the direct competitor and accepted. I worked for this competitor and continued to grow my knowledge until they unfortunately were forced to shut down all east coast operations.

Now I have joined forces with my longtime friend and old co-worker Nick Sarlak. Nick started Upstate Signs during the Covid pandemic back in 2020. and has been doing great things. We had talked about joining forces for a few years and finally I decided to take that leap! We both have a similar vision and thoroughly enjoy helping people give their business the look that it deserves while not breaking the bank.
