About Upper State Apartment Association

The Upper State Apartment Association (USAA) represents the upstate of South Carolina in the Multi-Family Housing Industry. Since 1979, USAA has represented members in regulatory and legislative issues that are vital to business operations.

USAA continually raises awareness of the industry through outstanding education and public relations, currently representing more than 67,700 units through 380 apartment communities, 136 management companies, and 142 supplier members.

Upper State Apartment Association provides members a large network of industry professionals to connect with on a regular basis. USAA offers numerous educational opportunities for personal and professional development. Our National Designations and Certification Classes provide continuing education credits and certifications. As a member of our Association you are also a member of the National Apartment Association allowing you the many benefits of programs related to industry standards and best practices.

We are an industry trade association whose members develop, own, manage, and provide products and services to apartment communities.  The USAA offers members monthly meetings and events which affords it's members the opportunity to network with other industry professionals.

Because of its constant and ongoing educational & informational program offerings, which include NAAEI designation programs, the USAA further contribute to member companies’ success by increasing the professionalism and awareness of their employees.
