Chris Burns, Senior Vice President for Willow Bridge Property Company, serves in the highest volunteer role in the apartment association network, NAA Chair, and his path there started at the local level. As he wraps up his term as NAA Chair, he’ll talk about why moments like today’s Board vote matter, how serving on a committee can open doors, and how your involvement at the local level connects to the state and national stage. Your voice matters more than you think, and Chris will show you where it starts.

Ty Jackson is a multifamily housing professional, speaker, and trainer with more than 20 years of industry experience. Her career has taken her from onsite leasing to executive association leadership. She started as a leasing professional in Memphis and worked her way up through assistant manager and property manager, so she knows firsthand the challenges onsite teams face every day.
Ty is a member of the NAAEI Faculty and the founder of Ty Jackson Enterprises, LLC, where her "Lead from Every Seat" philosophy helps professionals at every level lead with purpose, adapt to change, and deliver results. She is also a licensed real estate broker in Arkansas and Florida, and she founded Tidy & Ty, a nonprofit that supports children in foster care.
