Liz Newkirk (she/her/hers) is originally from Atlanta, GA, and has a background in marketing,
analytics, content creation, leasing, and the creation and execution of Diversity, Equity, and
Inclusion strategies in the workplace. Liz got her start working on-site as a Leasing
Professional then, made her way to Regional Marketing Director before switching to the
Supplier/Vendor side of the industry where she currently serves as Manager of Digital Media at
Loebsack & Brownlee, PLLC based in Charlotte, NC.
In addition to managing the L&B brand on the digital front, Liz serves as Co-Chair of the GCAA
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and was recently nominated to the GCAA Products,
and Services Council as Secretary for 2022. In addition, she serves as Chair of the Triangle
Apartment Association Education DEI Task Force Education Subcommittee while serving on
the Apartment Association of North Carolina State Suppliers Council. Liz Newkirk obtained her
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Public Health from Johnson C. Smith University, she has a
certification in Organizational Culture and Diversity and Legal Environment from Arizona State
University, a DEI certification from the University of South Florida, and obtained a certification in
Social Media and Digital Marketing from Clemson University.
In addition to being a passionate, data-driven creative and DEI advocate and strategist,
Liz loves her Lab/Beagle mix, Lola.
