Michael Harrington

Michael graduated high school when MTV still showed videos. In 1995 Michael joined the US Air Force and had a great time travelling the world, fixing awesome airplanes and saluting random people. In 13 years as a flight mechanic Michael visited over 40 countries, but mostly saw runways and fuel trucks.
In 2005 Michael graduated from the University of North Carolina (Greensboro), double majoring in Information & Operations Management and International Business with a minor in Economics. Michael then graduated from the Charleston School of Law in 2011. He has since practiced extensively in landlord-tenant law, Veterans’ issues, construction law, corporate contracts, employment law, and has put his time in with family law and will not do that again.
He is admitted to the South Carolina Bar, the United States Supreme Court, is accredited to practice before the Department of Veterans Affairs, is a member of the Charleston County Bar Association and is a state-certified Family Court mediator. He is a 2018 graduate of the South Carolina Bar’s Leadership Academy, is an active member of the Upperstate Apartment Association, the Myrtle Beach Apartment Association, and Charleston Apartment Association and a 2024 graduate of the CAA LEAD program.

In his rare down time, he has hiked the path of the Battle of the Bulge (but in summer), climbed Mt. Fuji, and driven at speed on Virginia International Raceway and the Nurburgring Nordschleife. He has called the Charleston area home on and off since 1995 with brief stints in North Carolina and Japan.
