The Director of Sales plays a very important role in execution to all sales, marketing and operational efforts. The Director needs to analyze the information by planning, and then also implementing each sales strategy successfully. The overall goal is to attain great profits for the company by creating successful sales strategies to retain loyal existing clients, as well as establishing new ones. The Director of Sales position reports to the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and works cohesively with the RSM to optimize their market’s performance.
