Position:  Business Development Representative

Hours: M-F 9am - 5pm

Start Date: 7/1/21

The successful Business Development Representative (BDR) is a hard-working, self-motivated, results-oriented professional, with a proven track record in business development and sales. The BDR will be responsible to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers through lead procurement from marketing campaigns, referrals, and cold calling.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for procuring leads and prospects for Grace Hill across all product categories, including Vision (our corporate training solution for the multifamily industry), Visto (credentials for learners), Validate (mystery shopping), PolicyPartner (policies and procedures for the multifamily industry), KingsleySurvey (resident and employee survey and reputation management products), and other products and services as they are released. Responsible for managing a robust lead pipeline within their assigned territory through inbound and outbound lead calls, emails, and lead generation follow-up, with the ultimate goal of creating Opportunities and booking meetings for ISR and FSR that eventually turn into legitimate sales opportunities.

Create the Opportunity in Salesforce and then pass the prospect off to an ISR or FSR.
Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
Present our company to potential clients
Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Sales Representatives
Report to the Director of Inside Sales on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED is required, college degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a BDR, Sales Account Manager, or similar role
Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
Track record of achieving sales quotas
Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and Google drive
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to interact with all levels of the organization
Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
Exceptional communications skills that instill confidence and build relationships readily.
Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
Emotional intelligence and adaptability in new and/or ambiguous situations and challenging business environments.
Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks
