Learn more >>> Groundskeeper Position Overview: Responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings of multi-family residential apartments. Will perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: watering, raking, trash pick-up and keeping breezeways and hallways clean. How You'll Contribute to the Workplace: Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintenance Responsible for meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings. Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter daily. Assist in the preparation of market ready units, including remove trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready. Assist Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner. Assist in the cleaning of available apartments and or models. Assist in the troubleshoot/repair of mechanical, carpentry and electrical problems. Report any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor. Participate in On-Call rotation, if necessary. Daily dumpster corral clean-up. Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that building systems and physical condition of asset doesn’t deteriorate. Check and maintain pool chemicals, if necessary. Maintain pool cleanliness and surrounding area. Check irrigation systems on a regular basis. Administrative Uphold all company policies, goals, and values. Remain compliant with all required training. Resident Relations Represent the community in a professional manner at all times-on/off property. Deliver communication documentation to residents. Contribute to the resident retention programs.
